The correlation of plant winter habit and vernalization with nutrition, phytohormone accumulation and enzyme activity

摘要

It was observed some data from the literature sources and the results of the autor's research work on metabolic nature of winter habit. It has been shown that spring and winter vernalized plants differ from nonvernalized winter ones by a greater rate of accumulation, transformation and translocation of assimilates, phytohormone accumulation and a greater enzyme activity. This cause better metabolite supply of phyllopbores and, thus, acceleration of formation of generative organs.
