摘要

In major application of subsurface radar, such as survey of buried pipe, a detection of target image is prevented from layer. Therefore, signal processing techniques which improve target image are proposed. In this study, a polarimetric signal processing is applied for detection of buried pipe. Since a target depth is relatively near to antennas, the present radar system can not consider mono-static. Accordingly, we use a T-bar fed slot antenna for subsurface radar. Because this antenna is very small, the new radar system is regarded as mono-static. This paper shows polarimetric radar images, and a capability of polarimetric subsurface radar is discussed.
