To make the vision of Ambient Intelligence become true, coherent acting of the devices of an environment is essential. Only then the full assistive potential of Ambient Intelligence for smart player's support could be guaranteed. This can only be reached if the environment is aware of the smart player's current situation, his interaction within his environment and of its own current state, Furthermore, the environment (and consequently its devices) has to be able to interpret the context (and its changes) of the smart players into goals that have to be fulfilled. Finally, strategies have to be applied that interpret the goals into function calls, which could be executed by the environment itself. So, Ambient Intelligence postulates at least a 3-process-data-pipeline: for sensing, interpreting and executing.
