The Virtual Study Desk: Towards Learning-Styles Based Content Delivery in Online Learning Environments

Many of today's eLearning courses are designed as generic information delivery systems, which often fail to take the learner's individual cognitive process of knowledge creation and retention into account, In order to prove eLearning as an efficient solution for knowledge building, new course content delivery methods have to be researched and evaluated, We are currently seeking for new learner-centered ways to offer students a wide choice of learning tools and a high degree of freedom to adapt the tools to their individual learning style at any point during the course.
