海洋鉱物資源の成因モデルをもとにした調査技術開発

摘要

The emerging interests have been paid for exploration of submarine mineral resources such as hydrothermal deposits, (cobalt-rich) ferro-manganese crust, manganese nodule and rare earth elements and yttrium rich-mud. The government launched the cross-ministerial strategic innovation program (SIP), one of which is "Next-Generation Technology for Ocean Resources Exploration ？Jipang of the Ocean-". In this project, there are three theme; scientific research on genesis of submarine resources, development of exploration technology, and research on environmental assessment. In this contribution, I introduce one of the theme, scientific research on resource genesis, and our research strategy.
