The resource potential in eastern oil and gas bearing region of Ukraine

The research is devoted to the issue of increasing of resource base in Ukraine by opening large oil and gas reserves, especially in its eastern oil and gas hearing region. The main direction of exploration is associated with the lower Carboniferous megacomplex, primarily upper-Visean productive complex. Glynsko-Solokhivskyi region has the maximum residual hydrocarbon potential, Talalaivsko-Rybalskyi region. The Northern Shoulder. The 50% of the Dnipro-Donetsk oil and gas production basin is considered to be highly promising according to the density of undiscovered resources.
