摘要

The accumulation of chloride ions (c = 5 X 10~(-4) M) at a silver electrode in the potential range from 0.19 to 0.36 V was studied by quartz microgravimetry and stripping voltammetry. It was shown that the amount of the AgCl deposit formed at the electrode increased as the potential increased up to 0.26 V. At high anodic potentials (E_(ac) >= 0.3 V), the quantity of AgCl formed at the electrode decreased. This was explained by a drastic increase in the rate of silver stripping and by the transfer of silver ions to solution.
