摘要

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a Gram-negative, opportunistic bacterium that in humans mainly causes life-threatening diseases in immune comprised patients and patients with burn wounds or cystic fibrosis (Driscoll et ah,2007). As many other pathogens, P.aeruginosa has become resistant to many antibiotics by both intrinsic (e.g. efflux pumps and biofilm formation) and exogenous (horizontal gene transfer) resistance (Courvalin, 2008; Poole, 2011). Combined with the fact that only four new classes of antibiotics where introduced since 1962, infections caused by this multi-drug resistant pathogen have become very difficult to threat (Fischbach and Walsh., 2009).
