Swelling following percutaneous transluminal angioplasty for radiocephalic fistula mimicking hyperperfusion syndrome.

Swelling of the arm or forearm in hemodialysis patients is typically due to stenosis of the venous outlet of an arterio-venous fistula (AVF). Herein, we describe an unusual case of sudden-onset swelling of the arm and forearm, on the side with an AVF following technically successful percutaneous angioplasty of a venous outflow stenosis.
