摘要

Conventional PID controller is suitable for linear and time invariant systems. In practice the systems are not linear. To control this type of system other than conventional controllers are preferred. In this paper fractional order controller is used to maintain and control the process output at desired value. Fractional Ms constrained Integral Gain Optimization method (F-MIGO), Nelder Mead simplex optimization method and frequency domain constrained optimization methods are used for calculating the optimum controller parameters in this paper. The performances of these methods are evaluated and compared on a conical tank process.
