Cost Estimation and Profitability Analysis for Alkaline Depolymerization of Poly Ethylene Terephthalate Waste

摘要

Cost estimation and profitability analysis for alkaline hydrolysis of poly ethylene terephthalate waste(PETW)has been undertaken for a batch process.Various cost analysis data are used to evaluate the feasibility of the process for industrial application.The payback period,the rate of return and the break-even point are recorded as four months,318% and 24%,respectively.It shows good return on investment that promises greater industrial significance.
