摘要

The separated flow field behind a backstep with lateral transpiration is computed by using large-eddy simulation (LES). A new wall law involving effects of transpiration rate and pressure gradient is proposed for incorporation into LES to treat complicated wall-bounded turbulent flows. Comparison of major characteristics for turbulent separated flow between calculations and available data is made for cases without and with mass transpiration at the bottom wall. For both cases the global trend of time-averaged quantities provided through the present approach shows perceptible superiority over three other methods commonly used in the literature.
