Kosep solicits 2.25 million mt in four spot and term contract tenders

Korea South East Power has launched two spot and two term contract tenders for a combined 2.25 million mt for its Samcheonpo and Yeongheung power stations. In tender, Kosep-Coal-2013-LT04, Kosep is seeking 1.5 million mt or 500,000 mt of bituminous coal annually for three years with a minimum calorific value of 5,500 kcal/kg net as received, maximum total moisture of 15% as received, maximum ash of 20% air dried, maximum sulfur content of 1% as received and volatile matter of 22-36% air dried.
