摘要

A new organic-inorganic hybrid titanium vanadate [Ti(2,2'-bpy)V2O7] 1 (2,2'-bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine) was synthesized by the hydrothermal reaction of NH4VO3, TiCl4, 2,2'-bpy and water. It was determined by elemental analyses, XPS spectra, TG analysis, IR spectrum and the single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Compound 1 crystallizes in monoclinic system, space group P2/c, a = 9.6083(19) Angstrom, b = 9.5196(19) Angstrom, c = 14.927(3) Angstrom, beta = 99.58(3)degrees, V = 1346.3(5) Angstrom(3), Z = 4, lambda(MoKalpha) = 0.71073 Angstrom, (R(F) = 0.0769 for 2632 observed reflections). The title compound contains an unusual two-dimensional titanium vanadate layered network decorated with the 2,2'-bpy ligands. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
