摘要

We propose a design concept to design a nonpolarizing beam splitter with a compact sandwich structure that has a subwavelength grating. The design is based on effective-medium theory and rigorous coupled-wave analysis. The simulation shows that a subwavelength grating inside a glass cube can eliminate the polarization effect.
