Atlas Copco Wagner Inc. Records tumble in '94

It's all happening in Portland, Oregon. On January 25 Wagner Mining and Construction Equipment Co. confirmed receipt of ISO 9001 accreditation from Det Norske Veritas Industry, Inc. covering the Portland design and manufacturing facilities. Next, on February 3, Wagner announced that James Henderson had moved from another Atlas Copco Group company, Chicago Pneumatic India Ltd, to become President with effect from February I in succession to Romano Girardi. Then on February IS came the announcement-that from March 1, 1995 the company will be known as Atlas Copco Wagner Inc. After five years of growth with Atlas Copco providing strength and international market presence, the Wagner management believes this particular consolidation has reached the point where the corporate association of the two "brand" names is advantageous. The loaders and trucks will continue to be marketed under the Wagner brand.
