摘要

The results of industrial tests are presented of shaped milling cutters from cast and rolled high-speed steel P6M5. A relationship has been established between the structural features, wear mode and durability of the tools. Electron microscopic studies and determination of microhardness have revealed that cast tools typically demonstrate less intensive abrasive and adhesive wear, higher resistance to plastic deformation at all stages of operation.
