The present invention relates to a process for the centrifugal casting of a vertical axis, in particular used for the manufacture of the rolling mill rolls, bimetallic or composite, the outer layer has multiple of the eutectics. In general, the traditional casting process is used for the cylinders using an outer layer to the eutectic unique.dans the case of an outer layer of eutectics, the application of the traditional process, in seeking to avoid polluting the core of carbide-producing elements, leads to the formation of pores just before the interface. These pores frequently lead to severe flaking in service. The new casting process makes it possible to eliminate the microporosities by extending the cooling of the casing up to the solidification of the eutectics, but using a layer of metal, secondary, the thickness and the casting temperature make it possible both to provide the heat energy necessary and sufficient to ensure a good connection of the two layers, while avoiding to remelt a part of the casing, which would pollute the core of carbide-producing elements.
