摘要

A computational routine is described to calculate the characteristics of one type of a hybrid fluid-friction bearing. The characteristics of the bearing are calculated by combined solution of equations of Reynolds and energy balance. The obtained system of equations is solved by the method of finite differences. The results are presented of calculation of the load-carrying ability, lubricating material consumption and power losses for friction. The proposed relations and developed software can be useful for designing high-speed fluid-friction bearings of the similar type.
