Sufficient conditions are obtained for oscillation of all solutions (or all bounded solutions) of first order neutral difference equations of the form Δ(y_n+p_ny_(n-m))+q_nG(y_(n-k)=f_n, n ≥ 0~* and Δ(y_n+p_ny_(n-m))+q_nG(y_(n-k)=0, n ≥ 0~(*,*). In results concerning Eq. (*). G could be sublinear or linear or superlinear. However, most of our results concerning Eq. (**) hold for sublinear or linear G. For Eqs. (*) and (**), various ranges of {p_n} are considered.
