This article presents a proposal for meat products that can be used in pizzas. The proposal was discussed by the Working Group on Food Hygiene and Foods of Animal Origin Experts in Germany. The use of ham and a description of what animal portion constitutes "ham" are tackled. Further plans for re-evaluation of the decision are mentioned.
