A New Fuzzy Mixed Metric Approach for Routing Decisionsin Packet Switched Networks and itsComparative Evaluation

摘要

Metrics are fundamental for routing decisions. For optimizing routing decisions,metrics are also optimized. And one approach is to fuse two or more metrics. Thepresent paper is dealing with two such mixed metric approaches. However, both themixed metrics are formulated using fuzzy logic theory but their approaches to achieveimproved routing decisions is quiet different. The paper will focus on three issues 1)discussing an existing approach [03], 2) proposing a new mixed metric approach, and3) a comparative evaluation of the two.
