Prices for welded pipes continue to decline in China

Demand is getting weaker in the Chinese market for welded pipes. Final customers have suspended purchases of local products and are in a wait-and-see mode in view of a rollback in HRC and square billet quotations by $75-90/t and $55-80/t, respectively. Construction activity continues to abate ahead of winter affecting demand too.
