Wolfgang Eder urges steelmakers to cut capacity to handle the industry problems.The Head of the World Steel Association and Austrian steel group Voestalpine highlighted that recentacceleration of trade defence measures in the EU could give a relief for some time, but it would not solvethe problems of the European steel industry, which has been suffering from overcapacity and significantprice pressure since the financial crisis of 2008.
