Everyone who operates a small business occasionally makes mistakes when dealing with problem employees. The problems can be serious or border on the hilarious, but they must all be dealt with efficiently. Many pressure cleaning contractors start small and, while many continue as a mom and pop operation, others grow and additional staff is needed to keep up with demand. Often cleaners with no experience in hiring and firing staff find themselves in unfamiliar territory. There are some good common-sense rules to guide you, and I'll offer a few.
