摘要

You will not be wholly successful at creating a workspace in which everyone is motivated. The boss's kids that are working for you during the months that school is out; some of the young people that are looking for summer employment and extra spendingmoney; older veterinarians that have since sold their practice and who are coasting into retirement—these folks probably don't want to be working at your veterinary practice (or any other one for that matter). No amount of bribery, pep talking, or threats are going to get a better performance out of them. If people innately don't like to do something or don't want to do something, it's unlikely (though not impossible) that you're going to motivate them to do it.
