摘要

This paper presents a method to predict the life of ultrasonic motors by a combination of wear estimation by a conventional wear4esting-machine and dynamic analysis of contact surface in the ultrasonic motor. The results are discussed as functions of slip rate between sliding surfaces and specific wear rate of the friction material. The feasibility of this newly developed method is confirmed by three kinds of ultrasonic motors and two kinds of friction materials. The predicted and measured data are compared.
