REJUVINATED XJ REVEALED

Not content with launching the all-new XE and XF this year, Jaguar has announced a series of enhancements to its XJ line-up, too, with an uprated and more efficient 296bhp 3.0-litre diesel engine, together with a suite of exterior changes. On sale from the autumn, the latest XJ gains a larger, more prominent upright grille, with standard-fit full-LED headlights. They feature J-shaped daytime running lights and are designed to give an appearance of a quad-lamp design at night. At the rear, the LED light clusters have been reprofiled to give a J-shaped light graphic, while the rear bumper has a piano black valance and chrome insert. Inside, the infotainment system has been upgraded substantially with a new interface, incorporating the company's InControl Touch Pro system, satellite navigation and the option of a mighty 26-speaker, 1,300-watt Meridian digital audio system.
