Vom Registrierstreifen zur Satellitenübertragung zur Entwicklung der Mess- und Aufzeichnungsger?te an der Pegelstation Vernagtbach

In this article, the development of the measuring and registration technique is documented for the high mountain station "Pegelstation Vernagtbach" in the Oetztal Alps since 1970. Whereas in the beginning, all quantities were recorded on various paperchart devices, digital data loggers came into use since 1978. Discharge is the only parameter recorded digitally and analogously since 1974. The technical development is documented on the examples of four out of fourteen parameters, i. e. (1) precipitation, (2) air temperature, (3) global, i. e. shortwave incoming radiation and (4) discharge. A list of special investigations supplements this continuous monitoring program.
