In this issue, we learn of two pricing decisions: one in India and the other in Egypt, that will have important implica- tions for world gas trade and the LNG industry. In India, a Supreme Court ruling clears the way for Reliance Industries to sell natural gas at a government-approved price of $4.20/ MMBtu instead of the former price of $2.34/MMBtu.
