EOG Resources stated that it intends to sell gas assets as a way of creating opportunities for itself to make gains in oil production. "We are outspending cash flow both this year and next year. The issue that we have is that we've found some massive oil reserves, and we've captured core posi- tions in these plays with massive oil reserves across North Amer- ica. So, we have this inven- tory to drive this organic liquids growth for 5 to 10 years out, but the other side of that coin is that we are doing this on leases that will last from 3 to 5 years.
