In this month's issue, we report on six gas fields that have been brought into production quickly to supply Chinas soaring power generation needs. The country has experienced record snowfall in a blisteringly cold winter, registering some of the coldest temperatures in 60 years. China's colder-than-average winter has placed further pressure on already tight supplies of gas, causing the country to increase LNG imports and order production boosts at some of its largest fields.
