PURPOSE: A Chinese character textbook and a Chinese character learning medium using the same are provided to induce an associative memory and a long-term memory by forming a story with an original Chinese character and a Korean equivalent. CONSTITUTION: A Chinese character textbook comprises an original Chinese character notation domain(10), a derived character notation domain, and a Korean equivalent story notation domain. The original Chinese character notation domain is formed to denote pictograms, simple ideograms, ideogrammatic compounds, phonetic loan characters, and phono-semantic compound characters. The original Chinese character notation domain is composed of a character description part(10a), round brackets(11), a radical description part(12), a Korean equivalent description part(10b), and a sound description part(10c). The derived character notation domain includes a first derived character description domain(20), a second derived character description domain(30), and a third derived character description domain(40). The Korean equivalent story notation domain is formed with the Korean equivalents of the original Chinese characters and the Korean equivalents of the derived characters.
