The ever-increasing incidence of primary cutaneous malignancies has heralded the need for multiple treatment options. Surgical modalities remain the mainstay of treatment of nonmelanoma skin cancer. However, it is important for the dermatologic surgeon to have an understanding of all treatment options to assist the patient in making the most informed decision possible, ultimately leading to the most favorable outcome.
