Cutaneous Basal Cell Carcinoma with Dual Differentiation into Squamous Cell Carcinoma and Spindle Cell Squamous Cell Carcinoma: A Case Report with Immunohistochemical Studies

Cutaneous basal cell carcinoma (BCC) gas diverse histologies. Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) differentiation is sometimes seen in a few-cases of BCC, and such cases are called basosqua-mous carcinoma.*~3 Cutaneous SCC rarely shows spindle differentiation, which is referred to as spindle cell SCC (SpSCC). There is only one report of BCC with dual differentiation into SCC and SpSCC.4 This study reports the second case of BCC with dual differentiation into SCC and SpSCC with immunohistochemical findings.
