Alberta Energy Minister Mel Knight says the province will not roll back new royalty rates in an effort to prop up the downtrodden junior oil and gas sector, but will instead create yet-to-be-determined tax and drilling incentives and will introduce measures to promote greater reclamation of abandoned wells.
