PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing a carbon fibrous material capable of continuously producing the carbon fibrous material over a long period without causing a blocking accident in a vertical type furnace core tube, to obtain the carbon fibrous material produced by the apparatus and to provide both a method for producing the carbon fibrous material and the apparatus for preventing the carbon fibrous material from sticking. SOLUTION: This apparatus for producing a carbon fibrous material is obtained by inserting and arranging a discharge tube having an upper opening for sucking and collecting the carbon fibrous material formed in a uniform part in a vertical type furnace core tube. The method for producing the carbon fibrous material, especially a carbon nanofiber and/or a carbon nanotube uses the apparatus. The apparatus for preventing the carbon fibrous material from sticking to the inner wall of the vertical type furnace core tube is obtained.
