Sexual harassment at the workplace: how organizations can pro-actively reduce its incidence

Sexual harassment (SH) occurs in organizations around the world, both in developed and developing nations with negative consequences for both employees and employers. It is usually hidden and not viewed as a problem that needs to be systematically tackled. Combating SH requires understanding what it is and then creating a safe working environment for all. We believe that the most effective weapon against SH is prevention and awareness, which can be created by the human resources (HR) department in any organization.
