The Society of Cosmetic Chemists(SCC)initiated a program in 1993 to recognize the achievements of younger scientists working in the cosmetic industry.The Young Scientist Award grants kudos to a member or national affiliate in good standing of the SCC and shall have been employed in the industry for no more than 10 years.The recipient may only receive the award once.Recommendations should be submitted directly to the Society of Cosmetic Chemists,which shall verify the eligibility of the recipient.
