Lurgi has developed an innovative alkyllation process-Eurofuel, based on distillation principles. This methodology uses a nontoxic, noncorrosive, easy-to-handle and environmentally friendly catalyst. The new development is a departure from traditional strong-acid-based alkylation methods.
