Burner design is becoming demanding with respect to the fuel fired, excess air requirements and emissions levels. Apart from the burner design, supply of desired combustion air in a multiburner forced- or balanced-draft furnace is crucial to burner performance and, hence, furnace operating efficiency and emissions.
