The charge-air duct has an integrated collection unit (16) for condensate originating from the charge air and a heater (18) integrated in the collection unit for evaporating the condensate to conduct the charge air. The collection unit is integrated in a charge air cooler (14) of the charge-air duct. The heater is electrically operated. The heater is operated by a coolant circuit of the internal combustion engine. An independent claim is included for an internal combustion engine with a compressor.
