Examination of the influence of the coal charge type on the graphite formation in the under-arch space of the coke-oven battery chamber

摘要

The formation of the pyrocarbon in the under-arch space of the chamber was examined in many works /1,2,3,4, 5/. In order souse the theoretical information in the operating conditions of the coke-oven plant in Trinec practically, the MS3 device for the continuous monitoring of the temperature, changes of pressure and weight of the refractory material in the under-arch space of the coke-oven battery chamber was developed. Carbonizing tests of single components of the coal change were carried out after the trial tents (possible from the point of view of the coke-oven battery operation). The experiences gained through the trial testing enabled us to plan the tests so that we can meet the Constant temperature profile of the coke-oven battery (constant temperature conditions) and to change just the charge quality. The carried out tests approved the Statistically significant difference of the pyrocarbon formation during the coking of various coal charge components.
