摘要

To suggest effective teaching and learning methods for gifted IT students, this study examines the characteristics of those students by using tools for learning and thinking styles. Based on analysis of the relationship between Grasha's learning styles and Sternberg's thinking styles, this study aims to suggest learning styles suited to the thinking styles of gifted IT students. According to the results, gifted IT students not only need to provide an environment where these students can take the initiative and actively participate in learning, but also provide competitive elements. Teachers also need to support participatory learning and reinforce collaborative learning by creating an environment where gifted students can interact through group activities.
