Interactive-Lecturing, a new approach to improving teaching delivery and student learning in a face-to-face classroom situation

This paper presents the methodology and effectiveness in the development of an interactive system for a large classroom that allows feedback of learning during face-to-face class time. The proposed real time interactive approach, an application of information technology to education that improves student participation along with feedback and helps the teacher evaluate his/her success, was setup, delivered and evaluated using university based courses. Test results of the achieved results of the learners are presented in the paper.
