摘要

Exhaust gas (EG) smoke from internal combustion engines (ICE) is one of the basic negative environmental factors of means of transportation and, other machines and mechanisms. This is primarily due to the high concentration of carcinogens formed in burning fuel in the engine and soot particles adsorbed on the surface which are easily dispersed into the air. In addition, soot (or disperse carbon) causes the formation of deposits in the engine combustion chamber and exhaust system, which worsens the technical and economic indexes and reduces the operating life.
