Russian oil company Rosneft is engaged in exploring refining opportunities in China and Chechnya, according to various news reports. The company's CEO Sergei Bogdanchikov reportedly said last week it considering building a refinery in Chechnya, according to a Dow Jones report. Bogdanchikov then said in other news outlets that the company is waiting for a feasibility study on constructing a refinery in China with China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC). That study is expected to come out at the end of this summer.
