Agent-oriented Simulation of Cooperative UAV Missions

We describe the design of a multi-agent simulation system for evaluating and visualizing missions of cooperating Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAVs). The system is generally applicable to a wide variety of agent-oriented systems. A major design goal for the simulator is the providing of infrastructure that supports rapid prototyping of alternative scenarios without sacrificing the flexibility of handling a wide variety of mission planning paradigms.
