Deep mine dewatering brings with it its own unique problems and the requirement for high pressure/high head hard wearing solutions. A multi-million dollar mining project in Zambia was looking for an energy efficient and profitable pumping solution for a East African copper mine. The huge construction project has now led to a contract for a dozen large dewatering pumps which will be utilised during 2014.
