摘要

Two varieties viz. Halman and Rakchey Karpo of apricot (Prunus armeniaca) were subjected to different processing treatments viz. blanching, lye peeling and sulphitation before drying under sun and in solar tent drier. The results revealed that solar tent drying method was better over open sun drying method. However, blanching with sulphitation was found slightly superior to lye peeling treatment as indicated from parameters that have been assessed.
